Drama.
We play drama and improvisation games that enable
students to loosen inhibitions and to work with each other co-operatively.
Students will participate in exercises that create characters and
scenes.
A workshop that develop self-confidence, as well as the imagination and creativity.
Suitable for primary and lower secondary...
Clowning and Slapstick.
A workshop that taps into students sense of comedy silliness and creativity.
We creeate physical comedy characters and practice well known comedy skits as well as create new ones. In learning slap stick students learn timing and team work.

Mime.
In mime we will learn techniques to create objects, such as the wall and the door and every day items such cups, plates , cars and bycycles. We create different enviroments such as the haunted houses,gardens and under the sea.
Later we will create characters and stories through movement and mime.
For primary students and lower secondary.
Commedia dell’arte.
Looking at the traditional characters the passions and the masks of the Italian tradition commedia
dell’arte. We will discover the relevance of this 16th Century style of in modern theatre. This is a very physical approach to performance, For secondary schools see In The Middle of the Night Blog for history on commedia.
Neutral Mask
The Neutral Mask is an important tool in the
training of actors. It assists performers, in discovering more about themselves and the world around them. In
working with the mask we tap into the actor’s creativity. Through a number of exercises we explore the elements, colours and animals, and explore possibilities of devising character and situation. It is a physical approach to acting. For upper secondary students
Shakespeare
Shakespeare can be fun! This workshop brings his great plays to life. A very practical actor’s approach
to the text that makes it accessible and exciting. Suitable for upper secondary students.
