My education and training

I obtained a solid grounding in acting at The Ensemble Studios Sydney, under the direction of Hayes Gordon, attending classes in voice, movement, improvisation, script and scene work.  The Ensemble gave me a strong foundation in the production, technical and organizational workings of a professional theatre company.  I obtained a Diploma in Acting.  in 1979
At L’Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, I entered a grueling and passionate journey of discovery, studying various styles of performance  including commedia  dell’arte,  clowning, mask, performance  (neutral and expressive) ,  mime and pantomime,  Greek tragedy and French melodrama, as well as gaining experience and skills in creating, writing and directing. I obtained a Diploma in Theatre in  1985.
